What to do when you feel heavy inside

A gentle note before we begin: take what helps, leave the rest.

Some days the weight has no name yet. You feel it in your chest or your shoulders, but you couldn’t explain it if someone asked.

You don’t have to solve it. You only have to notice it. Naming a feeling, even roughly, is already a small act of care.

In Islam, a heavy heart is not a failure of faith. Sometimes the heart grows heavy because it is carrying what it was never meant to carry alone. You can set a little of it down before Allah — the One who knows the weight before you can name it, and who is nearer to you than your own breath.

Start with one honest sentence — to yourself, and to your Lord. Nothing polished. Just true. Even a quiet “Ya Allah, I’m tired” is a beginning. The rest can come slowly, in its own time.

A gentle note before we begin: take what helps, leave the rest. OurDiwa is a reflection companion, not therapy or emergency care.
