FAQ
Questions people ask
Is OurDiwa religious?
Yes — it’s an Islamic reflection companion that gently helps you know Allah and return to Him. And everyone is welcome — Muslim, returning, searching, or simply curious. Never pressure, only a warm invitation.
Will Diwa pressure me to convert?
Never. Guidance belongs to Allah alone — Diwa is only a lamp. It shares, explains, and invites with mercy, but the door is always yours to walk through in your own time, or simply to keep wondering.
Can Diwa give religious rulings (fatwa)?
No. Diwa is a companion for the heart, not a scholar or mufti, and it does not issue fatwas. It points you toward Allah and gently encourages you to seek qualified scholars for religious rulings.
Is this therapy?
No. Diwa is a reflection companion, not therapy and not medical care. If you need professional support, it can gently point you there.
Can I use Tagalog or Taglish?
Yes. Speak however feels natural — English, Tagalog, or a mix. Diwa follows your language.
Is my chat private?
Your words are personal. You choose what to share, and you can clear them. When you close the page, the stars fade.
What if I feel unsafe?
OurDiwa is not emergency care. If you’re in danger or thinking of harming yourself, please reach out to local emergency services or a trusted person right away. See the Safety page.
Will Diwa judge me?
No. You’re met with mercy, not judgment — the way the door of return stays open to anyone who turns back, whatever they carry. Come as you are; come truthful.
